Spring 2020 has not been a normal time for anyone and we have all been affected one way or another by the global pandemic known as Covid-19. I lost half my small group of research students as circumstances deprioritised their research studies and they deferred to this summer.
The primary module I lead at MSc. level is called International Project Management, probably not the clearest of names (what is it with my experience of names?). The relevance of global virtual teamworking to my students who quickly had to move to such an environment as a result of the pandemic, was far greater than I had ever imagined in all my years of leading the module. Included in the syllabus are topics including but not limited to:
